- If it has Windows Vista make sure it has atleast 1gb of RAM.. a fast dual-core prossesor and make sure its a Dell...
- I find most brands good, except the cheaper Acer brands, as their warranty is very bad.
- if money is not a problem i would get a mac. they are expensive but worth it and easy to use and get use to
- Go for HP, you get more bang for your buck compaired to Dell. I am looking for a laptop for college and an HP laptop with the things I want will cost less then a Dell laptop that doesnt have everything I want. -Go for an HP -For an operating system get Windows Vista Home Premium -Atleast 1gig of RAM (2gigs would be better), -Get an Intel Pentium Core Duo processor (a Core 2 Duo is better but more expensive, stay away from single core processors) -For a full Windows Vista experience get a video card with 256mb of memory (one with 128mb of memory will work but not as well) -Hard drive size isnt that much of a problem, but bigger is better (try not to get one smaller then 80gigs though) Those are my recemendations, happy shopping!
