Laptop Computer For Sale

i bought an old laptop computer from a yard sale and just discovered i need a password to use d laptop as?

the previous owner/administrator had it set up like that,when i tried to contact the people that sold the laptop from the yard sale,i was told they already moved south. The company that owns the laptop is called "Micron" can anyone PLEASE advice me on how to reset or reconfigured the laptop.So that i can use it?

2. I used a second hand laptop once. Unfortunately, I wasn't the administrator so I was restricted to download or open some application due to restrictions. So I decided to reformat the laptop. I was able to change the password and configure the laptop settings based on my preference. In short, I was able to be the administrator of the laptop.
